Open Question: Animal information, biology website?
I'm doing a biology assignment on the platypus, and I don't need anyone to answer the following questions for me (unless you for some bizarre reason already know them off the top of your head)... what I need is a good online resource that has the answers on the platypus for each of these topics: 2. Muscles/skeletal system/locomotion c. Reproduction d. Brain/cognition/intelligence e. Other remarkable physiological traits 4. Evolution. a. Fossil record b. Natural selection c. Sexual selection 5. Resolved Question: Why isn't Obama talking about his >$845 Billion "Global Poverty Act" he intends to pay for with >gas taxes?
Several weeks ago, Obama sponsored a bill called the "Global Poverty Act" (S.2433) which calls for a phenomenal $845 billion in taxes to be paid by American taxpayers to the U.N. over and above what the U.S. already pays. The only way to raise that kind of money is through a global tax, preferably on carbon-emitting fossil fuels according to economists. Since he thinks a gas tax holiday paid for from a windfall profits tax on oil companies is just a gimmick with no real benefit to Americans, maybe he can explain how his proposal to aid his family's homeland, Kenya, with billions more of American tax dollars is related to his rejection of Hillary's plan. Or maybe he just doesn't want to upset all those oil industry campaign contributers he denies he listens to on issues affecting us at the gas pump. Anyone care to comment? http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-global-tax-proposal-up-for-senate-vote/ We already know what Obama's people will say.....It must be Hillary's fault that he has such a poor plan for dealing with the impending economic disaster heading our way, right? His attitude screams "out-of-touch elitist" to me.

Open Question: Activation energy of fossil fuels...?
Fossil fuels area all excellent sources of fuel and yet they are stable under normal conditions (25 degrees C and 1 atmosphere of pressure). What can you conclude about the activation energy of fossil fuels?

Open Question: For a school project i have to write a letter to the government about fossil fuels. what should i include in t
what should i include in it about why the gas prices are so high and how we can make them go down. it needs to be a formal letter to a politcal figure and it has to persuade them to make changes and include facts. any important facts or details i should include? or any political figure inparticular i should aim the letter at? or any ideas at all?

Open Question: I found a fossil?
My dad recently had stone chippings put down in our back garden and it is full of strange rocks and the other day I found a small ammonite fossil about the size of a reeses cup, in them, my parents thought I was lying of course and said it was one that I bought, but I think it is real. How would I check to see if it is genuine?
